The installation that runs through the three consecutive rooms of the Library consists of a single broken line in perpetual motion: a sequence of segments connected by flexible joints. A system of counterweighted cables continuously determines its configuration, redefining the proportions of space while alluding to the ideal space of knowledge.
The angles formed by the segments change in every direction and at different speeds: some remain temporarily still, awaiting the emergence of a new configuration elsewhere. The line presents itself as form, yet through its movement it manifests as gesture.
